1-cup urad dal flour 1-tbsp. ghee 1-cup sugar
1-tbsp. almond-pistachio crushed yellow color
ghee for frying.
In the pot take flour and warm ghee. Add the water to make the smooth batter. It should be a little watery, so the bundi that comes is round.
In a pot take sugar dissolve in water and boil. Stir on the gas. Add a little milk and cook on medium heat. Boil until it is thick like syrup. Add saffron dissolved in warm water. Add yellow color.
In a frying pan melt ghee. The ghee should be warm enough. Make bundi by pouring batter through colander or special bundi jara into the warm ghee. Slow down the heat. Remove the fried bundi from the pan. Add this bundi to the sugar syrup. Decorate with crushed almonds and pistachio.
